Sponsored by the Alzheimer Association, AlZ Meetups are social events that offer a fun and comfortable way for you to meet up with other people living with mild Alzheimer disease or another dementia and their caregivers in your community. VN volunteer Ann White will lead a gathering of songs that lift the spirit with a rich repertoire of well-known songs in a range of styles, to experience THE JOY OF COMMUNITY SINGING. No experience is necessary. Research shows that music activates the brain and evokes emotions that bring memories to the forefront.
